If I store something with a character and then delete the character, will my other characters still be able access the items?

Can't answer about the retail release yet, but I believe you could do exactly that in the BWE

i think he's answering my original question that it does work. well i deleted the character so i'll see soon.

Yes- your account storage is separate from the characters, so if you put something into account storage, it's available for all your characters. Deleting a character won't remove what that character put into your storage.
