i was hoping for a new hardcore game to play, ive played wow, basically done everything in it as far as content goes, and now its boring to me because there is nothing left, ive looked towards guild wars.. i havnt played any of the beta events, but i just wanted to ask you guys if there is thousands of hours of gameplay on this? (ive racked up almost 1500+ hours on WoW), i dont wanna buy it then be seriously dissappointed, advice?

Hi,

This is a GREAT game. I have played Starwars Galaxies for almost 2 years until they messed the game up with the CU. SO, i bought WoW and really enjoyed it but this game blows them both away, well, pretty close to SWG before the CU.

Ive been online now for 13hrs playing GW and still going, lol.

This game won't force you to spend countless hours doing something really boring, just to increase your level, but it does have a lot of great content that makes you want to keep playing, and some excellent, well balanced PvP.
You'll reach the level cap quickly (I've played for 10 hours and I'm level 8 already. That's almost half way to level 20.), but it won't become boring when you do.

If you are into instance grinding for items and "ub3r" loot, you are going to seriously disappointed because there is no loot that is rediculously overpowered. There are very hard instance PVE zones though. However, the longevity of this game exists in its vastly complicated PVP arenas. You and your group can spend hundreds upon hundreds of hrs there. Each character can be customized into millions of different builds that play very differnetly, unlike WoW where every hunter was marks spec or marks/beast. This offers lots of variety to pvp, whether it is countering these unqiue builds or developing one of your own. Aside from that, there are also various types of matches, such as CTF and King of the Hill.
