i think you talk to a captain on the right, right outside of ascalon town.

They are quest items collected by Captain Osric (I think that's his name). He is right outside Ascalon gate up the right-hand road toward the theatre, usually talking with Prince Rurik about obtaining a gift for Althea for her birthday the following day.

He don't want to speak with me. May that quest depend on your class?

It's not class specific, I've done it with all the classes. I have a friend who can't get it either. I think it must have to do with a time window of some sort. You must have to do it before some other quest that makes it unavailable. I do it before most other quests since he's right outside the gate of the city.

After you give the egg to Old Mack you should see the prince talking to the captain . After the prince leaves the quest is available.

I personally found the quest reward weak, so I skipped it.

But from what i heard, the beutifull flows( I THINK It's titled Red Iris flower) can be found along the road to regent valley in lakeside country.
