How do I do it? I am a level 7 N/R and I can't get across the wall. Gate Guard Torin says he doesn't recommend it, but says he can let me across. Nothing is working. Help!

Try Entering the mission, you should end up at the frontier gate after that.

If your still in ascalon, find the path that leads to the wall exiit, and you should end up at a Enter mission area.

I do not understand. I am right in front of the wall gate talking to Gate Guard Torin.

Hmm... Is there an option to enter mission on the party box?

No... This is very annoying. I finised all the newb-asc quests.

get a party.. then have one memeber go up on the wall and hit the lever, then the other person run through the door, you should both zone then...
