I can invite one, start a party but I cant seem to get more than other person in my party.

Is this limited in pre-searing era? This is where I am.

yes, once you leave pre-searing you can travel with 4, and later I believe up to 8.

Pre-searing is the green part of Ascalon when you start the game. When you enter the academy, you'll head into Post-searing and that's where the bulk of the game takes place.
