Questions
I have question about how the game play goes in this game? since the Honor system came out in WoW I have been really having a hard time playing the game. I was wanting to now if you have to worry about running in a group of 5 or more so that you dont get killed to get some type of honor? thought i am really liking the fact that i dont have to pay a monthly fee. i just want to know what the game play is like?

This is how it works.
When you go to town, you are put into a district. All the town's districts are the same in every way except for the people in each one. Although this makes meeting up with friends a pain at times, it also allows GW to be the first to run a game on one worldwide server. You can even join the International Districts if you would like to broaden your horizons. If you leave a town, you are given your own copy of the map. No one but you and creeps will be in the area, meaning no PKing or ganking. If you created a party before you left town, your party will be with you. When an item drops after a kill, it is randomly assigned to a party member. If you really want something that your friend got, simply ask him to pick up and drop it, which opens it for everyone. Guild Wars is a great way to escape the tedium that comes with other RPGs. After combat, your health quickly regenerates back to max, which means you can keep going without returning to town for healing or potions. A lot of enemies won't attack you unless you provoke it, which means you can avoid a lot of pointless fighting. You can reach the level cap of 20 in only a couple days [how long does WoW take to get to 60?], and this is where the real fun starts, since a great number of missions are intended for lvl20 parties. Overall, if you find that other RPGs are too slow or ruined due to PKing, Guild Wars is for you. If you don't mind pouring 100 hours a week into a game, stick with what you have. |
