I am playing a female Elementalist and have attempted to dye a few pieces of equipment. So far only the small colored areas seem to take dye, is it possible to dye an entire piece of equipment? The best look I have obtained is to remove all the dye which gives a silver or purple color to the highlights.

Different Armours' dye effects different areas of different armours.
