Do we get any kind of patch notes for GW updates?
Like for that new build that was released yesterday? Thanks.

Who cares? The game plays. More fun, let them worry about the streams.
I recieved 3 update during the last beta weekend there is no way they could do updates that fast and supply notes. That would take a month to do. Then we would be back to the old once a month patch. |

I've always been interested in patch notes myself. It's not that big a deal if I don't know what going on in the background as long as they do. But as a sys admin myself I always find that kind of stuff interesting.

patch notes are not for nosy players. they communcate essential information to us. for instance...i wasted 4 hours on a bugged primary quest for monk skills in the past 2 days and what if they fixed it yesterday? it would have been nice to be able to see that on some patch notes so i don't waste any more time trying to complete a broken quest. that's just one example...there are thousands of bugs in any game, and patch notes are the most efficient way to let players know what they fixed and what they didn't. |

okay let's go nback to the once a month patch. screw the streaming thing.
if a quest is broken send bug report (/bug). there's plenty of other quests and missions to complete. |

you think they are just fixing stuff by the seat of their pants? They have massive amounts of documentation for any new builds they develop. how hard is it to cut and paste the contents of their planned fixes for the day onto a website? That would take about one minute of someone's day...not a month. Last edited by Romac; May 02, 2005 at 12:32 PM // 12:32.. |
