I went to buy land and it said i need this thingy(forgot name) went to buy one and its out of stock

What the hell is going on.

I guess you wanted to buy a guild hall?

You need a celestial sigil for this. Sigils drop only in the Hall of Heroes, the top level of the Tombs of Primeval Kings.

If the Sigil Trader has none, try asking around in town for it, but be prepared to pay a hefty price.
