hey, if anybody could help me, that'd be great.

i was trying to do the (post-searing quest) Regent Valley Defense, from Sergeant Brannen just outside Fort Ranik . It says to Search King's Watch for Charr, southwest of ranik.

however i went to King's Watch (and even got the historical monument of Kings Watch) but found NO charr there. and the quest didn't update. searched w/ my group for almost an hour, opened most of the map, all the way to the boundaries, cleared all the mobs (grawls only) but found nothing

does anybody know what's going on with this quest?? is it buggy or something? anybody able to finish it?

It took me a while to finish also but it did finish. I think I went around and the entire King`s Watch boundary and touched all the King`s Quest signs plus going through the middle to the monument.

I've been at this mission for over 2 hours. I've explored everything, went to all paths, even went from the starting point and ran all the paths to make sure I didn't pass one. There isn't one creature left standing except for the Moa Birds, but I'm about to kill them too. Hit even sign and then moved inward to the center. Really hate to dump the quest and redo it because I feel this will just happen again. Any way to page a gm or something that can maybe help out? So lost for ideas on what else to try. Clockwise, counterclockwise. sigh. Any ideas on what areas to go to on the map? Any levels that need to be pushed or pulled?

Just signed up to say I think it's a bug. I was in the same boat and couldn't figure out why it didn't work. Not only that, but most quests will give you a green arrow pointing you in the right direction. But this quest wasn't. So I went back to the fort and started over. When I got back out to Regent Valley, I had the green arrow. Sure enough, when I got there, there was some Charr up on the hill... Right where Little Thom's corpse was.

My guess is that the Charr won't spawn if Little Thom's corpse is there. If you had that quest, I'm guessing the same thing happened. Go back and try again. If you see a green arrow, you know it should work.
