Value of 100 gold to the NPC

anyone know what this is? holding onto it for a while i guess, i mean if a npc gives 100 gold for it, it must be good, lol

can't be salavaged, or identified. im thinking its a type of weapon upgrade that somehwere along the lone someone will be begging for to make his or her weapon better.

Maybe take it to the armorer and see if he's willing to combine it with a weapon? Sounds like a nice blade upgade to me dunno though I'm just guessing.

Or maybe click it and click a weapon to upgrade it or something... Who knows...

Salvage materials are for salvaging, Crafting materials are for Crafting

I think that is needed to Craft some higher lvl equipment. I dont believe that its for upgrading

well ya get leathery claws from Hydra (found them last night) so guessing its the equivalent of silk - cloth and fur - hides

It should be used for crafting of another weapon. Just like sword hilts are for crafting of swords. Sounds like a name of a casters weapon, maybe perhaps a necro?

it's for a weapon of considerable power and shouldn't be taken lightly.

how do you get a weapon crafted? i have never seen this option form any NPC?

Once you get far enough you can. I may be wrong, but I think the first weapon crafter is in Yak's Bend. Not sure 'cuz the weapons I have are uber enough as it is lol.
