Question about second Profession - Guild Wars Forums

Do you have to have a second profession, or can you focus on 1 profession the whole time. Just curious. Please post when you get time.

It is required to have a second profession to go into academy and start the real part of the game

Not actually. You can refuse the second profession if you wish to.

Although... I can't really see why you would.

somebody contacted customer service and said the 2nd profession was needed for the academy

however you dont need to use it or place a single resource into the 2nd if you dont want to

Yeah, in the BWEs you could get through with one class, but I hear now you must have a second class to get into the Academy.

I always thought it would be fun to have a full-on level 20 single class character in PvP matches. Shame that they fixed that little bug.

Yeah it makes me curious because in the BWEs you could buy a guild cape for 100 gold. I got my guild cape AFTER the BWEs in the preview event for 100 gold. I wish I would have tried to rush through Academy as single class to see if I could have slipped it by before it updated like I did the cape lol.
