As most people know black dye is very very rare. I just bought a black dye for 800g (actually two exp. salvage kits). Did I get a deal? A fair price? Or did I get ripped off? What is a fair price for black dye and/or what is the going price for black dye? I'd like to know how my deal compares. I THINK I got a deal because someone was trying to sell me a black dye for 1000gp+.

Please inform me!

Actually, yes I think you did. I've seen it selling for at LEAST 950 minimum, and 1000 is pretty much the standard. I think.
