sir bertran in post-searing ascalon offers me skills for my secondary profession.. but i'm curious where do i get skills for the primary profession skills

Most of them are from Quests, but if you get to a town where you haven't gotten the skills from quests, up to that point, you will have the option to buy them as well. It has been changed to be more of a progressive proccess if you understand what I tried to explain.
