Macros? undocumented features? other functionality questions...
Are there any macros in this game at all?
I just discovered that I can Ctrl-click on a skill and it will tell my party what I am doing. I.E. - Skullguise Madmanse is casting bone horror! I don't remeber seeing that described anywhere. I would like to know if there are any built in macros such as in Wow and Anarchy Online. So that I could make a macro that would say... healing -target. blowing up corpse of - target. debuffing -target.... these sort of things, especially the debuff notice are VITAL to communicate to the rest of the party for PVP. Also while I am at it. Is there any way to link an item in chat text? Like EVERY other MMORPG out there? |

For instance you can call a target with ctrl+space and have everyone in the party select that target with the T keyboard shortcut.
Ctrl+click on your experience bar to show everyone in your party what level you are at and what percentage of your next level you've earned. Those are the only other ones I know at the moment. |

ctrl+click is your friend!!!!!! you can do with just about ANYTHING.
shift+ctrl+click on targeted mob will tell your team thats the mob your attacking and to press "T" to target and auto attack. (or something like that lol) shift+ctrl+space does the samething as above. if your going to rez someone in the middle of a fight, click on the person as needed, then ctr+click on the skill, it will then tell the team you are using "restore life" on John Doe(targeted player) same goes for mobs!!! if the mob is already targeted, ctrl+click on your attacking skill, and it will let it be known your are doing whatever skill to targeted mob. as for weapons... only 1 that i know to do is, ctrl+click on the weapon sets, not only does it change to the set but says something like "I'm weilding a long sword and tall sheild" lol, you can even do the ctrl+space/click on a npc to let your team know you'll be talking to targeted npc lol. thats all i know of right now... /shrug |

You can also ctrl click on your health and energy bars. This is useful for letting your party know when you're recharging energy.

All these are great, I only knew about the call targets command!
However, I think the function most sorely missed is a /who command... I have no way of knowing what a person's guild "stands for" or even what class they are if i'm trying to get a party together in one of the cities (as they dont show the profession above their heads then...) or of checking if someone is online (asides from having them on friends list). And even with the friends list, I can't check to see their level or anything... Just a few things i think need to be suggested to AN, because they are staple in nearly all online RPGs, and unless i've overlooked them, are very missed Other than that, love everything about GW! |

I was just noticing something about henchman today, that others may or may not know. If you use ctrl-shift-space/double-click, the henchman will attack your called target. It sure made things easier when I could command the henchies to take out the healers first.

I can't seem to find a way to control my minions. Is there any way to tell all of my Bone Horrors to attack the same target?

There must be hundreds of things that we arnt told..
Weapon speed stats for example! only noticable with frenzy, but depending on which sword I am holding varies the speed at which he attacks. I know this sounds obviousy but it is an Untold statistic on your weapon... What other statistics are missing? and yea, the game is in dire need of binds/macro's configuration. But im sure they are working on that.. .. arnt they? The Snowman |
