Quick Question - Guild Wars Forums

Ok, so i'm a ranger / mesmer. So far i havn't put any attribute points at all in my mesmer. So basically, i'm a pure ranger, which is pretty sweet. My question is: When i do some side quests and the reward lets say says 1000 xp and then 2 skills; almost all the time it is a combo between ranger and mesmer, so i would get 1000 exp, a ranger skill, and a mesmer skill. I was wondering if i was only a ranger and not a ranger / mesmer if i would get 2 ranger skills instead of the mix between both. Cause then i just should have been a straight forward ranger. Well, thanks alot if you can answer this.
