STACKING RUNES (Yes I searched for the answer first ;) ) - Guild Wars Forums

Ok I am LOST.

I read on the forum that you cannot stack any runes, so if I had a warrior strength rune on my gloves and one on my chestpiece, only ONE would work.

However, I have two minor runes of fire, one on my gloves and one of my chest, and they are BOTH working just fine!

Is this a glitch? Is it a class specific thing? I hope Elementalists can use more than one of the same rune because most of us stick to ONE element, fire for me. So I could use one for Fire and one for VIGOR, and one for energy storage, but that's all? Warriors have strength, tactics, absorption, etc.. Rangers have beast mastery, and others too... but us Elem's get screwed.

Also, can anyone give me general pricing information on runes? For instance I saw a SUPERIOR rune of VIGOR go for anywhere from 6k -20k... what do runes usually cost...

Also, if you care to answer, where the heck are the armor upgrades... Ive had the same armor since ASCALON... ??

Sure you don't hava helm/tiarra with +1 fire as well? The head piece bonus WILL stack with the other armor runes, but the armor runes are not supposed to stack.

A buddy of mine is playing a pyromancer, and he told me that 2 of the same rune WILL stack, if you put one of the runes on your shield-slot item. I have not tested it myself, but I don't see why he would lie about it.

Wow... I found a Major rune of Vigor the other day. Maybe I can swap it for a Celestial Sigil.

The next real upgrade to armor is in Lion's Arch. Yak's Bend has some new, but not all that better armor.

I sold my Superior rune for 10k, but now I realize this isn't something to sell unless you are REALLY stupid... or have two! lol Everyone needs a good one!

As far as Lions Arch... NOPE no new armor there either!

Really? Huh. That sucks, I have been pushing hard to get to LA over the past couple of days, mainly because I had heard that that was the next place to get better armor and new skills.
