Finding a friend - Guild Wars Forums

Me and a friend from school both have Guild Wars and I would like to play with him. But I cant seem to find him. We are both on America and we first didnt know about the districts. Then I read the forum and found out about the international districts. We then went to the International by selecting it from the drop down menu and it loaded and when it finished loading we decided to meet at a specified location and we were talking over the phone while doing this. We met up and he was no where to be found? We were playing the RP style and we were both in the same city? Please help?

Not sure why that would happen. Although I just had to sell to someone in UK and when I said meet me in AC D10 (ascalon city district 10 btw) he couldn't find me.

He then informed me that his AC D10 was AC D10 (UK). So instead we had to meet in "International District 1" We then saw each other and I sold him the item.

I believe internationally (from that experience) you can only meet Korea, UK, etc. people in the International district.

Just make sure you are in the same District in the same Town, the International Districts are only for connecting between say US - Europe.

So you would both want to be in Ascelon (District 1) which you can select from the drop down menu in the basic interface.
