I'm a casual player and do mostly PVE - I played one beta weekend last year and liked it so bought the game, and I'm glad I did.

It's not quite the same as Everquest/Asheron's call/WOW, etc, but it has its own appeal and strengths. I love the missions, especially the cooperative ones. Many missions are basic, but some require some thought and puzzling out somethings ("trebuchet! trebuchet!

). I like how they incorporate your group into the cinematic storylines during cooperative missions...

I like how you aren't competing for "spawns" with hundreds of others.

I like the NPC's you can have you join your teams if you don't have any real players to join you (though there are so many live players, its never hard to find a group) - plus the NPC's are fairly decent doing their job - no where near as good as real players - but I still find them a plus.

I'm only a level 11 and look forward to doing more missions and exploring different character combos as well...

I think its very worth the purchase cost. Plus you don't have to rush and try to find out if you like it within its "free month" like the others, no monthly fee gives you time to play it and try it out (after the intial purchase cost of course...)

Just my 2 gold worth...
