Level for Post-Asc
I started the game as a Warrior/Monk and ended up in Post-Asc at level 3. Decided that I should have explored more, made a new Warrior/Mesmer and got to Post-Asc at level 7.
The question: Is a Warrior/Mesmer going to be any good, or should I start a new character (I was thinking Elementalist/Necromancer). The reason I ask is, level 7, is that too soon for Post-Asc? I imagine there's no "too soon," but just how much more could I have done in Pre-Asc? Thanks. |

Level seven is a pretty normal time to head to the Academy.
Nothing wrong with the W/Me combo, it should be fine. Just remember that you will never be able to 'solo' like you did in Pre-Sear Ascalon. |

I left at LvL 8 and did just fine. Based on experience I think the best time to leave pre-searing is anytime from LvL 7-10. |

warrior/mesmer will do well if you know how to do well.
As a mesmer/warrior, however, you might have more trouble combining the skill sets effectively |

Okay, so.. I need to progress a bit from where I am, 'cause Old Ascalon makes me want to barf. Plus, it's hard. My henchmen are weak, too.. lol. Thanks for the tips.

I had a level 10 warrior / mesmer ??? good for PvE. And in the arena I was very strong except against most monk combos but killed and non-monk spell caster and I was 50/50 against warrior monks.
