Necro Control over minions? - Guild Wars Forums

I started a necromancer and have not yet discovered how to control the minions I raise. How do I get them to, say, walk from here to there?

You cant control them, per say. What happens is that they follow you like the henchmen do. They attack who you attack and for the most part wont go running into battle without you.

Odd. I have a beginning quest that tells me to use them to set off traps ahead of me and because I can't send them forward I can not get them to set off the traps....

If you look, there are corpses on the other side of the traps -- if you get really close to the trap, that's the closest corpse for when you use the spell and they'll set off the trap when they come back to you.
