Welcome to the forums.

Please use the search button in the future.. many of these questions have been answered in many many threads in the past, as well as in many FAQs.

As for building cities.. No, you cannot build cities in Guild Wars. Cities are destroyed, but you won't be the one swinging boulders at the walls to bring them down.

There is no open pk outside of player vs. player areas. In other words, the only players you fight are those who openly consented, and are willing to fight other players. Guild Wars is based on a system of competition, not mindless preying on others 10+ levels below you.

I've played shadowbane ya its not like that but its NO MONTHLY PAYMENT wicth is good after the free 31 days on shadowbane i quit that game.

there is only *one* instance that I know of where thats not true and your forced to pvp. Well, forced to do so if there is enough people completing/doing that quest at the same time you are doing.

But apart from that 1 event, pvp is all about ppl consenting to do it.. and heck, you can't really knock that 1 situation either

Just treat everyone like npc's and attack! hahahaha :P

And al I can say is... after my experiences way back in UO (beta & after-release..).. I'm damn glad their's no open PK in GW... being killed as a new player 10+ times in a row by a mid-high lvl (ie all at least like 10 or more lvl's higher than me..) PK guild which camps the newbie spawn spot/city.. was not very nice :P

ya but.. if u cant fork out $14 a month... theres something wrong with you. You have that option to do WHATEVER YOU WANT in that game... and $14 was worth it.. but not worth the lag.. and to find out this game is just all.. carebear?
if i wanted to contestedly fight people, id go play Diablo 2, or Runescape ^ ^. IMHO if this game was anything like Shadowbane, People would be pouring in.

and to all of you carebears that are safe, I rawr your face off, cause i wont be able to in game. No guild wars for this little dorf.. buh bye

Shadowbane is a horrible POS disguised as a game. Shadowbanes graphics and gameplay were outdated the same day it hit the shelves.
