just checking if you guys would think it would play it atleast decently, its a AMD XP 2400+, 512mb ram and Geforce 4 MX 440SW 128mb.

Not quite sure about the videocard, it's not all that good. But you could give it a try.

if i upgrade my video card to say a radeon 9800 would the game run perfect even with the other specs? or atleast run decent

Yes, with a R98000 it should run just fine!
