Are there any bears in Post-Sear?
Per title. After seeing someone has charmed one, I am extremely jealous LOL.

You can tame those monsters in old ascalon too i think. I cant remember what they are called, but they drop singed skulls.
I think you can anyways, i accidentally started to cast that spell on one then cancelled and went back to battle. Dont think you can charm the big rock guys though, they arent animals. |

Wow, I totally want a bear....Think I'm gonna loose my level 7 cat and try to get one of those! Any warriors with knockdown wanna help .
Edit: Contact me in game (Bryce Taran) and I'll group with people to try and tame them. I was thinking of going post-sear tonight, but I may have to put it off for a bit . Last edited by Incognito; Apr 29, 2005 at 04:18 PM // 16:18.. |

I'll probably be playing during my lunchbreak, but only to go drop off my pet to the bond breaker guy and give it a quick few whirls to get the hang of it. I'll probably be around tonight at 8+ PM est. In game name is Bryce Taran, but I'll add you guys to my friends list in game if you give me your game names and we'll group up.

So, did anyone figure out for sure how to get a bear? I know that one guy did it, but apparently he isn't sharing.

I got it...Disrupting Chop. It's available pre-sear, and the description is as follows.
Disrupting Chop- If it hits, this attack interrupts the target's current action. If that action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds. 6 Adrenaline. That Break Charm the bears do is a Skill, so if the warrior can hit the bear when it uses it on you initially, that skill is disabled for 20 seconds, which should be enough to recast charm and hopefully succeed. |
