There's no uber combination, if that's what you're hoping for... this is probably one of the most balanced games I've ever played.
So really, just go to the main page, read about the classes, and find a combo that you think will suit your playstyle. |

Well, I love my E/Mo15. I have put my att. points into Fire Magic, Energy Storage, and Healing, with most of the points going towards FM and ES. I can create a lot of damage, plus I'm able to help rez. My healing isn't as strong as most groups would want, but that isn't the main reason I'm playing this toon. If I can't find a group to head out on missions, I can grab a healer and fighter henchman and do pretty well on my own.
Not a bad combo, but be aware of your vulnerability in PvP due to cloth armor. I guess the other combo I like (just started the toon) is Necro/Elementalist. I got from lvl 1 to lvl 6 in the first couple hours of creation. |

I just started that build too. In theory it sounds awesome because although it doesn't have as strong healing as a primary monk, it has the energy storage so it can dish out much more heals then any other build.

That is very true, although the group heal doesn't heal for as much as, say, it would if you put more points into healing, it allows for more heals since you've put more points into Energy storage. But, if I've just expended a lot of energy from casting Fire Storm and Fireball, I have to wait for more energy to save that ME/E's ass who decided he'd jump in the middle of 10 Charr's and start meleeing them (believe me, there are crazy people who do this). By the time the Energy has regenerated to the point I can cast a heal, I end up spending more with Energy rezzing him/her. "Well, why not use your rez/sig" you might ask? Because I used it the last fight when he got stampeded by a group of scorpions. hehe So, primarily, when I'm with a group, I let them know I will be more useful with my rezzes than my heals, as I'm a Pyromancer first. They're usually ok with that at first until they start dying and they ask me why I didn't heal and let loose with a few expletives. |

Yes true. It'd be good in pvp as a backup healer and resser though.
Even with such limited amount of build possibilities, there's so many ways you can implement them and so many ways you could use each implementation as a tactic. |
