Upgrade Armor at Yak's Bend? - Guild Wars Forums

Hey everyone,

My char's a lvl. 11 W/N, and I'm wondering whether you think it's worth upgrading to one of the 50+ AL armors at Yak's Bend or waiting until the next armor crafter. I currently have the 35 AL Ascalon armor from Ascalon City. I don't want to rush a purchase if there's something else available soon after, but I'm not sure if I'll be able survive without better armor.

as a warrior, you are on the *frontlines* as creatures get tougher

its going to be 4 or 5 missions before you can upgrade your armor again
(Lion's Arch is next upgrade spot I believe -- not sure)

missions aside,
there are also sidequests -- which you do need for new skills

I'm sure you will survive with your current armor
but its also going to be easier to die until you get to the next armor town

If I were you I would wait and just upgrade your level and go with a very strong group to Lion's Arch.

At Lion's Arch you'll have an armor there which is 55+ and some extra stuff.
You need about 12 scales and 32 iron for it, so save the iron's and scales you saved in a storage and pick it up later.

I also recommend putting some Dye in the storage cause I am pretty sure you'll want to color your Wyvern Armor
