Last Set Of Armor? - Guild Wars Forums

Since I really don't want to waste my +attribute runes on something I'm going to upgrade 2 hours later when I stumble across another town, does anyone know where the last set of improved armor is found? I know there is a 1.5k set and 15k set that have the same stats, and don't seem to have a purpose at the moment, and if the 1.5k set is the last with a noticeable attribute upgrade, where would that be?

Here's what I learned throughout all my years of MMORPGs.

Make yourself better for the present, handle the future when the time comes!

I mean just in Guild Wars, I spent lots of time trying to get the best set items, 4 hours later, I find a new town with new stuff! I went around grinding for an hour, got all the items I needed, had the entire new set once again! The next day we unlock a new town, OMG! New armor! Same power except now instead of Ice resistance, I get Fire resistance! I wanted it anyways, I was tired of my old armor. Grind for an hour, get all I need, buy the new set!

If you keep collecting items, from that moment until the moment you find new armor, you will have crap armor and it will give you a harder time!

Guild Wars is not EQ2! Making money is easy, finding the items you need is a snap.

I like playing the game at an easier pace! So even if I know 2 hours later there will be a new set available for me, I'd rather be good now and worry about what will happen 2 hours later, in 2 hours later!

I upgraded armor last night and got 2 out of 2 runes back from salvaging the old armor and then applied them to the new stuff...

It's not replacing the armor I'm worried about, it's replacing the rune. Minor runes of Death Magic are rare. Major runes of death magic are even more rare. Buying things is all well and good, but actually being able to find them in the first place is the hard part, and since i have some, I would like to put them to use without needing to replace them right away and start from square one.

EDIT: I'm an idiot. I forgot you can salvage old equipment for runes...

I think they 6k set is at Draknors. That is what I have been told, you get there after finishing the desert prmiary quest I think. Or you can run

Its a freaking long way tho.
