Guilds and new characters - Guild Wars Forums

I was just wondering if it is possible to create a new character and not have that one e in a guild? I already have one character who is in a guild and when i created another character he was in the same guild. I was afraid to quit the guild because i might not be in it with my main character. Any advice is welcome.

When you join a guild your entire account joins the guild. All characters you make will be in the guild and will show up on the guild roster in your spot. ie- as leader of my guild all my characters show up in the leader position in the guild roster when online and have all leader abilities. Should you remove one character from the guild you remove all characters from the guild.

damn. so that means there is no way to change it short of quitting the guild, right?
