PVP Server, how's it work because...
In the RPG server, whenever you venture out of town or waypoints, you basicaly enter your very own world, or an "instance". In this world, there are no other Player Characters unless they've joined you in a party.
So how would PVP work on a PVP server? Do you pvp in town, if so, why not just shoot someone who's using a merchant? Please explain to me, the newest of newbs at Guild Wars Thanks in advance! |

There is no PvP server. You are all together in a single world, just when you exit the town you are in your own world (as you know already). And the towns are seperated into "Districts", which are basically many copies of the town that they use to split the players up so you dont have 8728738578 players in the town. That would lag a lot. The only PvP is in special arenas. Basically, you dont choose a server when you start the game, everyone is on the same server, just that 1 server is made out of a bunch of servers.

No such thing as an 'rpg' or 'pvp' server, we all live in the same world.
Missions and travel between towns are instanced. No ganking in the wilds, ever. PvP takes place in arenas and guild halls. No place else. In short, pvp is consensual or it doesn't happen. Best of both worlds. |

A PvP character only has access to the PvP areas of the game.
PvP is conducted in organised arenas in teams of 4 to 8. Sometimes random, sometimes player chosen, depending on which arena. If you bothered to do a little search you would have found all the info you need. |
