I need some help badly. I preordered a copy from EB and picked it up today. I found my regular cdkey, but i cant find my other, preorder key anywhere! where is it located?? i need help quickly please

I got the regular pre-order package from EB Games about a week ago, but after just realizing (Arenanet really could've made the information more clear

) what was in the collector's edition, I really want the CE now, mainly for the divine aura.

I was wondering if it's possible for me to "upgrade" to the CE at EBGames? I wouldn't mind running over sometime tomorrow on the 27th to change it if it's possible. If not, I might just separately pre-order the CE, since I only deposited $5 for the regular pre-order package.

P.S. Maxtheowl, the pre-order access code should be on a card in a little envelope inside the box (at least mine was, with the regular edition.) I'm not sure if any regular CD keys are even out

. If you go to the account info, you should be able to see which keys are linked with your account, and it should show Itha's Bow.

they gave me a sepparate box for the preorder, and it had the code and a cd in it, i just got my copy of the retail today

Hey guys, thanks for your help, but I still can;t find the key anywhere. I did recieve 1 key, and it was located on the inside cover of the game jewel case. I used this key when it asked for it the first time. I tried playing, and it said that my account starts at 12:01 am on the 28'th, which is the normal release date.

I looked everywhere for a second, preorder access key in the box, but it was nowhere to be found.

is it possible that EB game me a normal copy of the game, or am i missing something here? I would appriciate any help.

If you played GW in any of the beta events, your preorder item is already on the account, you enter the code in ur CD Case onto your account to get to play today, if the item isnt on your account already, try entering your beta passcode in as well...

thats what i mean. i ONLY have the one key. I have no beta passcode, or no other key, just the retail key.

Did you preorder it? because if you did, it's in a little envelope inside the box you got when you preordered GW... if not, you dont get a preorder item :P

Theres absolutely no envelope and my key works but only allows me to play on the 28'th, so i'm pretty positive they gave me the wrong one. well, then can expect a visit from me today.

I pre-ordered from gameSpot on Monday April 25, asked for Overnight Shipping so I could play Wed the 27th....
I received the game Wed, the 27, with no pre-order key, only a retail key, thus I pre-ordered and paid $10 for nothing, when I could have got the game Thursday and saved $10, since I cant play with the key they sent me and have to wait until the 28th.

GameSpot sucks

Here is what I think happened...GameSpot was advertising the game to "pre-order", well yeas if you purchase before relase then you are pre-ordering..
Unfortunately, this means nothing accept you get your game and cant play until the 28th..
Now if you ordered or bought a "pre-Order" box, then you can play early.
False or deceptive advertising by GameStop...I will never ever order from them again.

I did "pre-order" the game from amazon.com but they dinnt give me any special code.

I got the Collector's Edition, and it says that I should get a divine aura (both on the package and on in the "manage access keys" page in-game), but I don't have it (if it is an item.) My character doesn't glow in any way either. Is this something that's going to be implemented later on, or do I have to be a certain level to see it?

use the search feature in the forums. type in "divine aura". there have been alot of discussions about it. itll better explain the answer you're looking for.

Ah thanks, I was able to find what I wanted to know.

here're some screenshots of some of the "auras" (they automatically appear around your hands whenever you do any emote):
Necromancer's aura
Mesmer's aura
Ranger's aura
Elementalist's aura
I don't know what the other 2 professions' look like, since I haven't played as them.

Ugh. Due to the issues with the pre-order items last night my main character I started with doesn't have his. Any new characters I create have the item, but the character I really wanted to have it - doesn't.

Does anyone know if ArenaNet is planning on giving the items to characters that were made before they fixed the pre-order item issue?
