value of purple items? - Guild Wars Forums

I have a bunch of purple items layin around and would like to sell but I have no clue what they're worth. I could guesstimate on the staves because I'm an elementalist, but couldn't make the wildest guess for my bows, axes and hammers. so, few quick questions:

-whats the normal damage range for axes, bows and hammers?

-if an item has a higher value, does it always mean its betters? (like if I have 2 bows, one valued at 90g the other 110g, will the second one sell for more automatically beacause of the higher value?)

-is there an easy equation for figuring out the selling price for these things, like the given value multiplied by 10?
