Distributing Attribute Points in W/M
I am on my first charicter in GW and I am playing a level 11 Warrior/Monk. I have put all my points into three attributes. Healing Prayers, Tactics, and Swords. I have been told not to but any attribute points into strength due to my charicter being a W/M. Should I move them around any? Thank you for your time.

It really depends on what skills you are going to use and how you intend to play your role in battle!
The point your friend is making about strength seems to be based on how you intend to kill things. If your going to be using bleeding attacks and damage bonus from swordskill then fine. Your biggest enemy here is people in high AL vs physical as your strength will not give you any armour penetration. But there is nothing wrong with that. The key to a build is knowing what skills your going to use and focusing on them. Test it and see if your idea is strong enough to hold in the heat of battle. You also need to understand if your going to do PvP or PvE as sometimes skill combos that work with 1 are no good for the other. The biggest question I always ask myself on a warrior build is: What am I going to do in all this armour? If I intend to just live longer than anyone else then I need to know what I intend to do during that time! Am I just a tough ressing machine? Am I going to deal damage? Am I going to tie up the enemy? etc! So the question is: What are you planning on doing? |
