Why Make A PvP Character?
I don't understand it. To unlock the skills to play the class in PvP, you need to pretty much get him to the point where he could enter the arenas in PvE anyway. New builds? You get refund points that regenerate every 250xp. Unless you're trying a new build every 5 seconds and don't care about losing fame/rank I don't see the point. The second you want to try a new class you need to make a new PvE character for them and start over anyway (or change your 2nd class on your current PvE character.)
So yeah, why make a PvP only char when it seems it would just be easier to stick with your main. |

Because it is the ONLY way to change your main profession and already have the skills unlocked to use (IF you had it as a secondary). Jana |

You don't have to recreate your character, create a new one and enjoy all those runes you unlocked but lost to salvaging...
I've been using it to see what combination of armor suits my playstyle. In PvE I was boosting energy but in PvP I found that I really need some better physical protection, I'm glad I got to test this for free rather than wasting crafting items and gold. |
