Difference between blunt, slashing, and peircing? - Guild Wars Forums

I still kinda need to know, I've googled it like mad but just got filled with more useless GW info.

BTW this site should have a statistics section where people can ask all kinds of freaking weird statistics and people can help them out.

(EG chance to get whatever with whatever, etc...)

It's all about resistances. PvP armor can have a piercing resistance. Mobs in PvE can be resistant to any specific type of attack. It just means you'll deal less damage if they're resistant to that type of attack.
