Item Pickups? Slavage Kits Etc. - Guild Wars Forums

Hello, Im a Monk/Mesmer i have so much invo i dont know what to do with it. Could someone possibly tell me what i do with salvage kits, identification kits, salvaged items, pretty much the whole concept makes no sense to me. Also what items should i keep, salvage, or sell that are of use to my race? A link or some help would be most greatly appreciated.
