Vampiric Gaze Award - Guild Wars Forums

So, I have an E/N and I want Vampiric Gaze. I know I would have gotten this pre-searing if I had a Necro primary. I was hoping someone with a Necro secondary might now where to get this skill without have to purchase it (and use up a skill point)?

Also, does anyone know if the game has plenty of skill points to go around? Am I being too much of a miser by not spending them?

Save them! Hoard them like precious gold.

They may seem to be rolling in thick and fast now but trust me, later on (after you finished all the storyline missions and hit 20) they are much harder to come by, and if you've run out it can be terribly frustrating.

My advice is to spend a point only on a skill you know absolutely that you will be putting on your bar on at least a semi-permanent basis. Otherwise save 'em up. If you want to switch to another secondary you'll need them since many of the quests to gain skills are one shot only and if you did them with one secondary you won't be able to do them again with another. Even if you are sticking diligently to just your original setup there are still far more skills to aquire than there are skillpoints easily attained (yes, you can grind for more if you have to but it really IS a grind). Much better to make sure you spend those points wisely.

Take it from someone who learned the hard way.

I don't know of any way to gain Vampiric Gaze for a secondary Necro other than buying it from the trainer. But its a good skill and even if you don't use it all the time its not likely to be one that makes you think "Why the $%^& did I spend a point on that?!"
