Crafting and Salvaging
Ok, to start off i am a noob, i dont admit it often but ive only played the game for 4 hours now and i think im level 5. (been exploring)
However i have found out how to use the identifier kit, but some of the items i have found id as 'highly salvagable' now, i didnt know what that ment and i have been vendoring blues i didnt want. I am wondering if i am screwing up big time. I read somewhere about salvaging and crafting but i cant find anything to tell me exactly how/why/what it is. Does anyone have a link to an exact listing to tell me about it or if you could explain it yourself that would be BEYOND awesome Thanks, Zero |

The unidentifed items usually are one of 3 things in pre-searing.
"highly salvagable" meaning you get more/better materials "precious" meaning they sell higher to npc's or they have some sort of chance to do an something. (+1 to marksmanship 10% of the time) Usually I personally use an expert salaging kit on all blue items except the precious which I usually sell. |

save ur crafting materials
the biggest mistake i made with my first character was selling all the crafting materials that i didnt think were useful, but once u get to the post searing u will need them as far as other items, like staffs or shields or swords or whatever, if u dont need them now, u wont later so u can sell them |

zero in post searing- (meaning after you go through the Academy) their will be NPC vendors that will craft armor from raw materials. Also be aware some common materials can be converted to more rare materials from other npc an example would be steel being made from iron and charcoal.

not sure of a posting as in a materials database per se. The npc crafter do show what materials you need to craft certain items also the material traders also tell you what base components you need to combine to get the more exotic materials.
