Necro primaries and GvG - Guild Wars Forums

Sorry there was a good thread about good things to know for GvG but I lost track of it. One of the points was don't use a Necro primary and this seems to be the general consensus.

I can see that if the other class is anything but warrior. But what about all those N/W builds?

First off, you can always use the Search function on the forum to find a thread.

Also, the idea that any class combo shouldn't be used in any part of the game is just silly. This isn't an individual game, its about team play. All of my characters in the alpha were Necro primaries, and they all did well in GvG/PvP/PvE. I even had one char that only used Necro skills who did well.

Its not about the two classes you use, its about the skills you bring and how they fit with the team you are in. Then it all boils down to the skill you and your team have in the match/mission. An individual build may not do well on its own, but in the right group it could be a devastating addition.
