Question about moving to the Academy - Guild Wars Forums

Just a real quick question about the academy... My work buddies have been playing pre-searing ascalon along the same path, I was wondering can we go to the academy together as a group or is this an individual quest/action?

Also, why can you only group with 1 other person? Is this a limit throughout the entire game or just pre-searing?

Random based on who is waiting in line. You COULD theoretically, if you both spoke with Tydus at the same time, be pitted against each other, or grouped, or none of the above.

The limit to ANY grouping pre-searing is 2 people (this includes the academy).

The limits go up from there, first to 4, then later 6, then 8.

I'm not sure about going through the academy. Try both players clicking at the same time, it should put you in the same group (or against each other). Once you get past the academy the group number increases to 4, later in the game to 6 and finally to 8. 8 is the max.

thanks for the info about the academy... It would be pretty cool to fight each other!!

A group of 4 would be nice... There are 3 of us, and now it is like whoever gets on first gets to group!!
