Well i'm doing cure for ralena and I happened to sell the or destroy the mossy rock as such I cna't get the cure from master ranger nente, am I screwed or can I discard the quest and start over or anything?

If you discard the quest you should be able to start from scratch by talking to the original quest giver.

Just abandon it in the log window and go and talk to Vassar again.
