Upgrading a Ascalon Bow - Guild Wars Forums

Hi everyone,

I have a Ascalon bow with dmg ranging from 15-28. Is it a good idea to add a shock string to it? How fast does a ascalon bow shoot? what is its reload time?

I may be wrong, but I think the Ascalon bows are akin to longbows. Keep in mind though that you will never be able to salvage any upgrades you put on that bow. It's not that huge of a deal, since it is already max damage, but you might just want to keep it in mind.

i see..thanks for the input. in that case...do you happen to have a short bow with max dmg..no mods u want to sell?

Not at the moment, I am still collecting those and halfmoons (they are the same) for my arsenal.
