rune of marksmanship - Guild Wars Forums

hello. i have found this rune of markmanship. it says double click to apply to somthing.
i double click it ,but it doesnt show anything that it will apply to .
i tried to click it on my bows. as well as my armor. no go.
how do i use this.? is it a bug?

Wait, is your main proffesion a ranger? You can only equip runes from your primary proffession. So if you are a Monk/Ranger you cant equip a ranger rune, only monk runes.

here we go again.. how old are you bro... cuz the concept of double clicking and then clicking on an item or armor isn't so complicated. And if it's a ranger rune you need to be a primary or secondary ranger, and you my friend seem to be a monk... anyways use ur brain :P

You're asking HIM how old he is?

Heh. I can see how age has helped your worldly grasp of the English language in your sentence structure as well.

Anyway, you are wrong. You can ONLY use runes of your primary profession plus Vigor runes. You cannot use a Ranger rune unless your primary is Ranger.

by the way .whats Gwens the broken flute for?

There are several theories on what both the broken flute AND the tapestry are for post-searing, though none have been proven yet. They base around either a secret mission, or an add on to some other mission.

For this reason, I keep them on me in my bags, in case something comes up, but I wish I knew for sure, as these things are taking up space, but I just can't shake the feeling they are useful for something.

Its not only that your first profession needs to be ranger. It only works on items that are personalized for you. Actually I hoped that my level 2 warrior could apply a warrior rune of minor absorbtion to a rare shield... and than I would give it to my level 15 monk/warrior... But no, he cant apply it to anything thats not personalized for himself. Good thinking of Arenanet, but still I think its an example of overtuning the game. It would be more fun if this was possible. Just my 2pence.
