A sticky end?
Hi there
Being fairly new around these here parts, I wasn???t 100% sure of the best place to put this question. So I???m putting it here secure in the knowledge that it???ll be move on if it shouldn???t be here. I???ve been surprised by how quickly the Q&A forum moves and so of course how quickly any question asked gets relegated to the dusty old pages at the back of the list. I???ve been following a particular thread and benefiting from your wisdom regarding the makeup of guilds, but each day the thread gets further and further back of course, so I find myself leafing through more pages each time. I don???t like to use the ???search??? function to jump straight to the thread, because as I work through the pages I am seeing other interesting content and enjoying picking up juicy tidbits of info, while I wait for my copy of ???GW??? to arrive from order. (Two Weeks.) So to my question??? (Finally eh? ) You have a generous supply of ???Sticky??? topics and that???s a good thing for someone like me who is eager to soak up as much info as possible before getting my paws wet ???ingame???. But why oh why do the Stickies have to reappear at the top of each and every page? Once you???ve seen em??? you???ve seen em! They belong at the top of the opening page only in this Badgers humble opinion and having to scroll past them every time gets old pretty quick. It???s a tiny thing???. But worth a mention I thought. Aside from this I think this is a fine website, full of the kind of wholesome nuggets of gaming lore that every young adventurer needs if he is to grow big and strong. All the best Badger. |

lol i do agree with you on this one. most other forums have them only on the front page of that particular forum. Whereas on this one nearly half the page is taken by stickies! hehe. perhaps a way to compile hte info into one FAQ thread (i know my Fur thread at the top has a lot of irrelavant info in it now and could easily be trimmed down to a post your size and added into a "Salvaging and Crafting FAQ")
or maybe move all the stickies to the top forum (hall of knowledge?) |
