quest problem - Guild Wars Forums

i agreed to do the wayward wizard quest with my lvl7 ele/mo but although it appears in my log there is no green arrow on the mini map.as a result i had no idea where to go. foibles fair i know now and where it is. found out from looking on this forum/site, but does this happen often?
also is there better armour availible this early? i got some boots from an npc but have found nobody else selling anything i need.
the crafter in ascalon is a waste, what the hell do i want a sword/axe/bow for?

Yeh sometimes you need to be at a certain portal area for the green arrow to show you the way makes it a little harder and will stop people from rushing through them

It isnt really worth getting the armour from the collectors cause when u leave the walls from ascalon you can buy much better armour n will save time.

Green arrow and big green star only show if you are in the correct area...If you choose a quest from your log and no arrow shows up, move to a new area and try again. When you reach the correct area, it will show up!

Yes, you can't be half way across the map and click on a quest on the other side of the world and expect an arrow. If you press "m" when you're in a quest, then the green star should appear on the map.
