Transfer Equipment/Gold Between Characters
I did a search of the forums but didn't find an answer so if this has already been asked, sorry for the second request. Is it possible to transfer gold/equipment between your characters? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Once you get to Post Searing Ascalon buy a vault from the storage keepers (50g/character). Items can be placed in the vault and accessed by your other characters. I don't think gold can though.

Gold transfer just takes a trusting friend!
Go to a town/fort that BOTH characters can go to...hand the gold to a friend, log off, log on with new char...then get money from friend! |

Using the vault, Can I transfer equipment from a PvE char to a PvP one? am not considering the other way obviously and you would know why...
2) Can the vault size be increased? I haven't tried to place bags in the vault (yet) |

I wanted to add to this post. If you can share a storage box between charcters does the size increase? Or is the storage box always the same size? I only have 1 charcter however I was thinking of creating another if it will allow me to increase the size of my storage. Thank you.

If there's a way to increase the size of the vault, it's not from creating more characters. So far, I've yet to find or hear of a way.

You can deposit gold and plat in the bank. Look at the top of the bank window. I pool all my gold there so any character can use it. I don't know if it was like that when I first opened the bank account or if it was added shortly after. It's possible it was there all the time and I just didn't notice until I'd used the bank a few times. Anyway, look at it, you can swap gold no problem. More slots in the vault would be nice though. Mine is full and most of it is crafting items for the various armor each character wears. Last edited by Zelkova; May 19, 2005 at 04:29 PM // 16:29.. |

storing gold in your vault was a patch that GW added because of the over whelming request for it. So when the game was first released you could not store gold. And as far as I know there is no way to increase the size of your storage.

If you try to do a transaction with an NPC which bring your gold reserves over 100k it will not complete the transaction and display "You have too much gold to complete the transaction" or something like that. In trade it works like with items, it just cancels the trade even if you've accepted (I Loved trading people 100k gold, and them not getting it cause they have at least 1 gold already :P) Storage is linked between all characters, bags can only hold up to 10 items (and you can have up to 2) belts 5 backpack 20 storage (shared among all) 20 that's 45 item slots per character (200 total storage space) Right now I have one mule character to hold all my extra items. Unfortunately all mine (except 1 slot) and his inventory is full now, so i'll need to start liquidating (I don't want to make another mule) at least sigils won't get to be priced over 100k now I think it might get 90-100k in a week for few, but the question is how long will it last? Since eventually the supply of sigils should outnumber the amount of people wanting a guild hall (because they'll all have one). Sorry about changing topics. Nope, a bag starts with 5 slots, you use a rune of holding on it and it increases it to 10 slots and the rune disapears. You can not use more than one rune per bag, and can not use the rune on the belt pouch.
