Yar =( Need help with Army Life quest - Guild Wars Forums

Ok, so I'm on the "Army Life" quest to find Old Mac's Body. I've traveled to where the marker indicates and found his pet, Joe, but I can't find his body. I've tried standing on where the green dot is and searching around the area a bit, but no dice. Is this just a bug and I should reload the map, or am I missing something (if the latter, I would be most grateful if someone would clue me in. Thanks!)

I dunno.. when I found him he was still alive.. Joe had protected him, apparently... If you can't find him, then your quest could be broken.. try re-entering town and trying again.

Yeah, crazy old game. Took me a couple of tries, but I finally foud Old Mac.

First try I found his pet. Second try I found him, still alive, but he died before I could kill the char. Then I clicked on his body and.....nothing, it just disappeared. Good thing it is a short walk for each try.

i'm having the same problem... at first i thought it was because i couldn't ge tanyone to go with me and everytime i tried with henchmen i'd find joe and the dot but no sign of good ol mac... i guess i'll try to abandon the quest and get it again....
