How do I ask someone to JOIN me?
NEWB - many questions, but 2 for now. I am now a Ranger/Monk L4 and I am told to ask Alesia to Join me on my mission into Old Ascalon - I cannot complete this mission w/o at least one partner, I guess - anyway, I go to her, by the Gate, and ask her to Join me - and in the Party Box - it shows she is a part of my part until I go into Old Ascalon - she is NOT with me.
Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong? Also - I notice in our Inventory we can carry 20 items in each knap sack [4 of them] is this true? IF so - when the first fills up - why can't we switch to the next one? In a similar vein - I see we can setup 4 different Weapon Setups BUT I how do you do it? I tried putting a sword and shield in set 2 but does not work???? TKS for your Help - - - - Michael "Seeker of Fun" |

Click on the person you want to take with you, then click on the green + icon in your party box.
It's 10 items per bag. You can make multiple weapon setups by dragging them into the weapon setup. |

Actually it's a belt pouch which comes to the right of the inventory, then 2 bag spaces. The reason why you cannot store anything there yet is because you need to purchase these items (or get them from collectors/other players). Each of these items only allow you 5 storage spaces.
The 2 bags slots, however, are upgradable by purchasing a "Rune of Holding". This rune costs 500g and increases your holding capacity of a bag from 5 to 10. Being only a level 4, you probably don't have access to some of these yet but you will want them as you progress through the game. |

TKS - but in getting a helper/henchman to go with me I have done what you told me to do, and just did it again - to NO avail - I click on her, then the green +, then it gives you two choices, Kick or Leave, I have tried both, BUT when I get back to Old Ascalon it does NOT matter - she is NOT with me, ONLY my trusty BIG kitty. WHY? WHAT it IS?
Also - maybe it's again because I am only level 4 BUT it will not let me setup more than the weapon set [bow] that I am using. I can uncheck set 1, and check set 2 then say add a sword - it will replace the bow in set 1??? TKS Michael |

orbeavhawk, you're missing something about the henchman. When u click the green + as u would other players, the henchman will accept the invitation automatically. The "kick" allows you to kick that particular henchman, and "leave" let YOU leave the party, very much like a normal party.
so dont click either of the buttons, and you'll be fine btw, if u use map travel, your party is gone. it works the same way as a player party except it won't warn u. |

If you want to set up a new weapons set, click one of the 3 icons in the bottom right corner (or hit F1, F2, or F3) while you have your inventory open. Then equip new weapons and it will remember your weapon configuation in that icon in the corner. Then to change weapon sets, just hit the button.
If this doesn't work then I'm not sure what the problem is. I've never had any issues with creating/changing my weapon set. |

Multiple wepons is a bit tricky. Click the button weapon sets. Click the check boxes (As many diffenert setups as you want up to four) Now press F2. You should be bear handed again. Equip the second set of weapons now. Press F1 to switch back to your original setup. Reapeat the proccess for wepon sets F3 and F4 if you wish. As for invint people. Click them. Press the green plus. Name should apear grey in your party window. When they ACCEPT on their end their name will appear in a red bar. The hechies automaticly accept being NPC's. It also says at the top of your party window how many people are currently in your group. |
