Getting rid of my pet - Guild Wars Forums

How do I get rid of my current pet and where do I find bears?
Also, does my pet get the same amount of xp as me, or can I take on guys that are around his level and have him get xp even though I get none?

Talk to Jerral the Tamer. In pre-searing hes in Regent Vally. In post-sear hes standing right outside Ascalon City. He will take your pets, and its free. If you do a search, Im sure you can find out how to charm a bear. I've seen it before, but I don't remember how to do it. I know you have to knock down the bear. as for the XP part, Im not sure how that works.
