After Searing Necro Armor - Guild Wars Forums

OK at risk of rehashing this for the 80th time, There are of course a few sets of Necro armor you can get after leaving the good ole days behind. I was looking at GWOnline for Necro armor and saw the Fanatic Armor at Yak's Bend. It, like the Ascalon city armor is armor 30 but has all these nice defenses against piercing. Is Yak's Bend far from Ascalon city? Should/could I wait until I get there to get that armor instead? I would much rather have that armor but if I can't make the journey with presearing armor then I have no choice I suppose.

Yak's Bend is a fair distance from Ascalon City. You get access to it (through story line anyway) after completing the "Nolani Academy" (sp?) mission. You could try to walk there I suppose, but it wouldn't be easy (depending on what lvl you are).

I believe that the Fanatic Armor is the same as the armor in Ascalon. Be aware that there are two armor crafters in Ascalon. Their is the crafter that sells the armor that has armor: 15, and the other crafter has armor: 30. The armor with 30 cost 150 gold, while the armor:15 pieces only cost 50. I believe the Fanatic Armor is the same as the armor in Ascalon that has armor:30.

Bonelace Boots:
Armor:30
Energy Recovery +1
Armor +15 (vs. piercing)

Bonelace Tunic:
Energy +5
Armor: 30
Armor +15 (vs. piercing)

Bonelace Gloves:
Energy +5
Armor: 30
Armor +15 (vs. piercing)

Bonelace Leggings:
Armor: 30
Energy Recovery +1
Armor +15 (vs. piercing)

Fanatic Necromancer armor is exactly the same for the exact same price, but diffrent materials.

Yeah I noticed that and got the bonelace. Can't say I like the look too much. Looks like a goth cheerleader :P I like the full length armors. But I suppose since guys designed the game everything has got to be skimpy
