Hi, lol, simple question (i think), what is "Farming" that everyone goes on about?

Simply put, grinding for items and gold in one particular (fertile) area repeatedly.

Maye elaborate what that means exactly?

I don't have the game yet (comes tommorrow hopefully) so I want to fully understand the layout/interface and the terms used ingame.

There's nothing to elaborate. You play the same area repeatedly because you want x gold or item z or a certain level before you move forward. Farming isn't necessary, but you may have reasons for doing it from time to time.
